A Real-Time Electricity Price Decision Model for Demand Side Management in Wind Power Heating Mode

The problem of wind power curtailment (WPC) during winter heating periods in China’s “Three-North regions” is becoming worse. Wind heating, though being an effective way to increase consumptions, constrained by high electric costs under a peak-to-valley electricity price pattern. This study develops real-time (RTP) decision model which adjusts the time-varying RTPs within acceptable range users based on WPC distribution over particular dispatch day. lower accompanying higher can guide user side equipped with regenerative boilers (REBs) actively REB imports absorb additional generation. Then, demand response using REBs RTP scheme optimized minimize total cost met while assisting large-scale generation accommodation. and reductions different scenarios are compared discussed alongside effectiveness RTP-based management terms reducing increasing feasibility periods.
